I am a BSN, RN graduate with a love for adventure and a heart of gold. Once upon a time, I roamed the seas on a boat as a sailor, navigating the waves from Alaska to Hawaii and everywhere in between. But alas, my sea legs eventually led me ashore to pursue a new calling: nursing. As I have traded my salty sea tales for a stethoscope I am delighted to see what this continued JouRNey has in store for me. Since graduating in the fall of ‘24 I have completed a new graduate residency program on a medical/surgical telemetry unit, where I continue to work. At this point in my career I am hopeful to expand my horizons to various forms of patient care. My ultimate goal is to be a nurse who can navigate all aspects of patient care with ease and turn even the stormiest of situations into smooth sailing.
